The Big Picture
The Emergency Services Building is the new emergency response center for Pueblo County. The new 2 story service center includes a dispatch center, training classroom, conference rooms, offices and monitoring stations. This project consolidated the Sheriff’s Department’s Emergency Operations Center, the County’s 9-1-1 Center and the Joint Information Center which were previously housed separately in very cramped quarters. Both the Emergency Operations Center and the 9-1-1 Center were expanded significantly in the new facility, and both received major technology upgrades.
